Description


The wind tower is a conical tube shaped welding structure, each section is around 10 to 40m length.  The sections is connected by a connecting flange and the top is installed with a wind generator. The welds of wind tower are mainly circumferential welds and longitudinal welds. Welding process always use GMAW or FCAW on root welding and SAW on fill and gap welding.

Welding condition: Rooted up by GMAW or FCAW, filled and capped by SAW. Two-Run application and standard multiple passes welding application.

JM®-56 250- 280A/ 25-30V/    Welding speed: 25-35 cm/min

LW-71 Plus:  230-270A/ 27-33V/  Welding speed: 25-35 cm/min

Submerged Arc welding process: 500-700A/ 28-34V/     Welding speed: 40-50cm/min

Welding Conditions: JW®-1 / SJ-101G is more suitable for single pass welding.

SJ-101: With excellent welding process, stable arc and ­ne appearance, it is the perfect choice for wind tower multiple passes and layers welding which meets -20°C impact requirements. It is also suitable for two passes welding.

SJ-101G: With excellent welding process, stable arc and ­ne appearance, it is the perfect choice for wind tower multiple passes welding which meets -20/-40°C impact requirements. It is also suitable for multiple passes welding.
