Lincoln Electric Tangshan

Lincoln Electric (Tangshan) Welding Materials Co., Ltd. is located in Luan County, in Tangshan District of Hebei Province. This new business occupies a total site area of 168 Mu (111,000 square meters) with a total committed initial investment is US$29 million. This completely new factory is designed as a world class state of the art MIG wire manufacturing operation. It uses the latest energy efficient and environmentally friendly systems for factory environment and waste treatment. Manufacturing equipment and processes are the latest developed by Lincoln Electric using the experience gained in facilities such as Jin Tai and Lincoln factories around the world.

The business is under the management of experienced people transferred from other operations such as Lincoln Electric Shanghai and Jin Tai. Trial production commenced in July 2010, the current production capacity is around 20,000 tons per year. Production will increase progressively to a total output of 200,000 tons per year over the next 3 years.

Lincoln Electric Tangshan manufacturing operations carry ISO9001:2008 quality certification issued by VOUCHING TECHNICAL INSPECTION LTD in August 2011. We intend to obtain the quality certification ISO14001 in 2012.

In line with our centers of excellence strategy the Lincoln Electric Tangshan factory is focused on MIG wire production only. With its advanced technology, large potential output and Lincoln Electrics capability and commitment to support long term growth, Lincoln Electric Tangshan operation will become one of the world’s leading MIG wire production bases serving customers in China and worldwide.
