The worlds leading welding manufacturer, Lincoln Electric, established a joint venture partnership with the Zhengzhou Heli Welding Materials Co., Ltd in January of 2008, to focus on manufacturing submerged arc welding fluxes and wires. The joint venture is known as The Lincoln Electric Heli (Zhengzhou) Welding Materials Co., Ltd.

This successful partnership has the production capacity as well as technical capability, to make it the worlds largest manufacturer of agglomerated flux. The operation processes its own raw materials right from the mine to final use. This total control of the manufacturing and supply chain ensures quality, reliability, and a competitive product. A new purpose built factory is commencing production in August 2010 using the latest designs in material processing and management. In keeping with Lincoln Electrics commitment to environmental protection, the new plant incorporates many innovative energy conservation and material management systems and represents the state of the art in flux manufacturing.
