Under immediate supervision, comprehends issues and interprets problems and/or requests from business partner(s) of light to moderate complexity. Provides SAP or SAP bolt-on solutions to improve operations and/or for moderately difficult problems. Moderate level contributor to one or more specialized phases of business operations. Assist with SAP upgrades, as these are implemented. Provides development and maintenance support of applications systems according to detailed specifications. Designs, document, test and implement using prescribed standards. Provides development and maintenance support of applications systems according to detailed specifications.

• Be responsible for implementing Lincoln Electric China and Global SAP projects
• Maintain good relationships with all business partner(s) and IT technical experts. Promote SAP and bolt-on integration concepts and instruct and convince business entities on how these can help them to become more successful.  With intermediate amount of IT technical support, configure multiple and/or interactive business processes for SAP performance improvements.  Continue to identify SAP advantages and proactively encourage business partner(s) to make alterations to maximize functionality.
• Uses strong reasoning skills and high levels of creativity and imagination to define opportunities and conceptualize tactical and strategic improvements in business processes. Particularly utilizes integration of systems to maximize productivity, reduce inventory, increase profitability, etc. Accesses IT experts to assist in identifying all opportunities and methods available
• Utilize the list of processes that are important for LE's competitive advantage, as derived from the SAP business blueprint template.  Effectively identify, organize and implement the series of steps involved in achieving each set of desired outcomes.  Help the business partner(s) to configure work to take the most advantage of the SAP business blueprint. Track progress and reports status
• Configure simple to moderately complex processes pursuant to SAP business blueprints of best practices and coordinate the IT and the business partner(s) efforts to implement necessary work methods changes and/or systems customizations required.  Prepare proper and complete business process documentation to ensure that business partner(s) and IT experts all understand changes and can contribute to successful implementation. Promulgate instructions, monitor results and report findings.  Make adjustments, if necessary.  Keep all interested parties fully informed throughout execution. Work with business partners and IT technical resources to create functional designs.

Qualification:

• A Bachelors degree in computer or information science related major
• About 3-4 years related business analysis experience, preferably in a related industry is a plus.
• Proven skills as an integral member on at least one full cycle implementation.
• Proficiency and strong knowledge in one area of SAP functionality like Sales & Distribution, Warehouse management etc. for SAP versions 4.7 c & ECC 6.0 including configuration of the module(s) and knowledge of related processes and systems expected
• Ability to develop software programs, end user applications and reports within SAP platform by accessing data would be a requirement for position requiring programming support. Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles for developer position is a requirement. The programming/coding experience is not required for positions requiring configuration of SAP modules, but is a plus
• SAP Certification in SAP functional modules will be a plus
• Knowledge of other modules of SAP and experience in using BW will be a plus
• Experience in supporting SAP ERP upgrades will be a plus
• Must be able to learn to analyze, design, document, configure, test, train users and implement programs and systems using prescribed standards
• Strong analytical skills & initiative at picking up new knowledge. Initiative and strong teamwork skills are expected.
• Language bi-lingual in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Required to work overtime when requested or to work different or extended shifts per management requests and/or business/project requirements. Provides 7x24 after hours, weekend and holiday support as assigned or required by manager or projects
